Payment Policy

Upon completion of a Schoolhouse Nutrition Workshop, individual schools are responsible to provide full payment of workshop fees to Schoolhouse Nutrition Inc. 

Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy

After booking a workshop with Schoolhouse Nutrition Inc., we set aside this date and time exclusively for our educators to visit your classroom. However, we understand that unexpected circumstances may interfere with your plans. Therefore, if you wish to change the date or cancel your current scheduled workshop, you must notify your assigned educator or email hello@schoolhousenutrition.ca a minimum of TWO BUSINESS DAYS prior to the date of your scheduled workshop. After this request is processed, we will try our very best to accommodate your newly desired date and time. Failure to notify a member of Schoolhouse Nutrition Inc. of your cancellation or date change request will result in full payment of our workshop fee.

Schoolhouse Nutrition Inc.’s Cancellation Policy does not apply in the event of unforeseen circumstances or weather conditions (e.g. snow days, school closures etc.) outside of both parties control. Schoolhouse Nutrition Inc.’s Cancellation Fee will be waved and a replacement workshop will be rescheduled. 

Copyright Policy

Schoolhouse Nutrition Inc.’s concepts, content, graphics, logo(s), design, educational software, audio-visual presentations, printed & educational publications including but not limited to lesson plans, answer keys, worksheets, activity sheets, concepts, interactive workshop games/activities contained within www.schoolhousenutrition.ca , social media profiles, as well as used within in-person and/or virtual Schoolhouse Nutrition Workshops are, unless otherwise noted, the property, Copyright and Trademark of Schoolhouse Nutrition Inc. and are not to be reproduced, modified or transmitted for any purpose. In addition, above Materials are not to be distributed, disseminated, published or otherwise transferred to any third party, without the express prior written consent of Schoolhouse Nutrition Inc. In the case of personal/non-commercial use, credit must be given to Schoolhouse Nutrition Inc. where applicable. Disregarding of these Terms and Conditions contained herein is violation of Canadian Federal and Provincial Copyright and Trademark laws. 

Use of Website

Schoolhouse Nutrition Inc. is not responsible in any way for the direct or indirect damage stemming from the use of www.schoolhousenutrition.ca and/or any third party external link contained within our internet platform. The content contained within third party websites accessed through external links and/or advertisements from www.schoolhousenutrition.ca  are out of our control and therefore do not accept any liability for the content contained and/or sold through such websites, external links  and/or advertisements. This does not exclude any damage one may endure through the transmission of confidential or sensitive data through our website or the transmission of said information over the internet to you at your request.

However, Schoolhouse Nutrition Inc. cannot guarantee the appropriateness for a particular purpose or non-infringement of property rights regarding information, materials or documents contained within, referenced or linked to this website and/or social media profiles. Schoolhouse Nutrition Inc. or its assigns will not be held liable for any damages whatsoever arising out of the use or misuse of any materials, documents and/or information referenced to or contained within our website, social medial profiles or programs.

At Schoolhouse Nutrition Inc. our online platform is created to serve as a space where both in-class and board level educators may become familiar with our curriculum enriched workshops, allow excited parents and community members to familiarize themselves with health education, as well as raise awareness about the importance of health studies. In browsing through our website, you may be asked to share information when booking a Schoolhouse Nutrition Workshop or in the event of further inquiring about our in-school services. As we recognize and appreciate your trust in sharing this information with us, we have developed the following Privacy Policy as a means of remaining transparent with you. 

Personal information collected with your implied or expressed consent while booking a Schoolhouse Nutrition Workshop is to be used for the sole purpose of scheduling a Schoolhouse Nutrition Workshop as well as for related purposes of serving your classroom at the highest level.  This shared information is to be retained by Schoolhouse Nutrition Inc. only for the period of time taken to achieve your requests. Once your requests are fulfilled and this shared information is no longer required by Schoolhouse Nutrition Inc., any personal data given to Schoolhouse Nutrition Inc. will be destroyed. With exception to the above regulations, personal information may be disclosed without consent where permitted or required by law, including in response to a legal obligation such as a lawful disclosure order. In addition, Schoolhouse Nutrition Inc. may retain shared information as necessary for legal purposes, including for the period of time required to comply with any applicable legal standards. 

As we may occasionally ask your permission to complete a survey, testimonial or join our educational mailing list, any retrieved information is only done with your implied or expressed consent and is solely used for the purpose in which it was collected. As our workshops are set to make improvements along the way, we may use your shared contact information to keep you up to date about the ways in which we can better serve your classroom. We may achieve this communication through occasional physical mail or virtual email updates. As always, we value your loyalty in Schoolhouse Nutrition Inc. and honour any decision you choose to make whether staying subscribed or unsubscribing from these shared updates.  If at any point in time you do not wish for Schoolhouse Nutrition Inc. to continue to store and/or use your shared personal information, you may contact our team via email at hello@schoolhousenutrition.ca to relay your request. Here at Schoolhouse Nutrition Inc. we do not participate in the selling of said information/ transmitted data to third party sources. With discretion regarding your confidential information, only authorized personnel maintain access to this information and are trained to safeguard and protect your confidentiality. 

Although we have stringent procedures in place to safeguard and protect your shared information, please note that in spite of our best efforts, we cannot guarantee the complete security of any online data transaction. Therefore, any information provided to Schoolhouse Nutrition Inc. via the web is conducted at your own discretion. If you do not feel comfortable booking a Schoolhouse Nutrition Workshop over the web, we understand your concern and are able to provide personal phone registration.
